For starters, Can the Clutter is a residential organizing company with professional organizers in the local areas of Eugene/Springfield, Oregon, and in the Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota. We also provide office organizing services and productivity consulting to individual entrepreneurs, small businesses and larger corporations through our CTC Productivity division.
Who We Are
My name is Jan Lehman, and I’m the founder and president of the company. I manage the staff in both regions. My credentials include: Director of Communication and Technology for NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) Minnesota, B.S. degree in Operations and Systems Management (minor in psychology) from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. I bring 17+ years of experience in helping companies streamline and optimize their business operations and daily work processes. I’m married and have three children. My work experiences and family life help me relate to your unique situations.
I have a wonderful team of trained professional organizers that assist with many jobs. Jana, Brenda and Patty in Oregon and Marcia in Minnesota. All of the members of our team are patient and nonjudgemental. They are trained to understand the more psychological side of organizing, so they can not only help you transform your space, but also change your behaviors for longterm success. Our team is professional, nonjudgmental and highly efficient. They are also friendly, easy-going, and forthcoming with helpful information. They are homeowners, children of aging parents and have children of their own so they can completely relate to your time constraints and pressures.

At Can the Clutter, we focus on helping you maintain order, organization and a peace of mind over your personal spaces. Our areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: living spaces (bedrooms, family rooms), work spaces (kitchens, shops), garages, basements and playrooms.
Here’s the breakdown of our process:
- We assess your challenges, concerns and goals. Please DO NOT clean up before we come! Seeing your space “as is” is the best way to assess the real situation to determine what will help you most.
- We provide hands-on work. We lay out a plan for future progress, and give you ideas and tips to meet your goals.
- We will follow-up with you by offering accountability sessions. We are not successful unless you are able to maintain organization on your own.
Consider us your personal trainer for organization. We make sure you are spending your time wisely, and that you know exactly what techniques do and do not work for you. We want you to feel good about your progress because you play a role in the success.
