Stuffed animals fall into the category of “Where did they come from, and how the heck do we have so many?!” I swear they come to life at night, and plot their mission to take over the planet. I just don’t understand how they multiply so exponentially. If they are as big of a problem in your house, and your kids just can’t bear to part with them (no pun intended), give this DIY Stuffed Animal Organizing Tutorial a try. It’s quick, easy, and will give the animals a place to be contained!
Supplies
- Wire planter (or 2 or 3 or 4…)
- Spray paint
- Hardware for attaching to wall
Steps
Step 1: Remove that hay-like insert from the planter. You can compost that, but it’s not recyclable.
Step 2: Spray paint the planter to whatever color you want. They usually come in black, so you might want to plan for at least 2 coats of paint per planter.
Step 3: Attach to the wall.
Step 4: If the design of your planter has large spaces on the bottom, line it with a blanket to prevent the smaller animals from falling through the holes.
There you have it! No more stuffed animals cluttering your kids’ space!
This DIY Stuffed Animal Organizing tutorial is not only easy, but it looks great and the animals will remain accessible. If you find yourself in need of more help keeping your kids organized, visit us at Can the Clutter.
