Putting away laundry is one of my least favorite home organizing chores.   Sorting, folding, missing socks…and why is every piece of clothing that belongs to someone under the age of 12, inside-out?!  Why?!  When the clothes finally make it to the closet, I want to makes sure each item has a place where it will stay folded, accessible and hopefully right-side out.

Ideally, your closet should have a good combination of hanging space and shelf space.  If you have problems with clothes toppling over because there are too many items stacked up…or, you can’t find something because it’s too deep in the pile…or, by the time you do find it, it’s too wrinkly to be worn, you might want to add a few shelf dividers to your home organizing arsenal.  Not only are they are inexpensive, but they are also space saving and effective.  You can stack 4-5 items in a pile, saving valuable vertical space, and allowing you to visually locate each item quickly.
